People’s Choice Award – Yay for us! The shortfilm we shot and produced The Enemy Within took out the People’s Choice Award in Wagga Waggafest. All the prize money wil be donated to Riverina Bluebell to raise awareness of mental health in the local community. As we’ve said before, we love being a part of the Wagga community – a big thank you to everyone who voted online during Waggafest making this short film something extra special.

Crow Awards 2015 – Steve and I are very proud to be named as finalists in the Crow Awards 2015 for Best New Business. Winners will be announced at the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber Gala Awards Night on 8 May. If we win, we’ll have to find a way to put down the camera and stop filming the night for the Business Chamber to make our way to the podium!

ABC Open Makers and Creators Blog – ABC Open publishes and broadcasts stories made by regional Australians, and they feature across ABC TV, Radio and Online. We’ve been working with the super talented ABC Open Producer Sonya Gee to create our contribution. Stay tuned!

We’ve been super busy Mayflies filming 60 second promotional videos for each of the  sponsors of the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber Crow Awards. Each video will be played at the Awards night, and has seen us visit local businesses of all shapes and sizes to film their story and promote their business. Hours and hours of shooting, lots of editing and what we’ve been most happy with – heaps of keen talent to direct! If you’re heading to the Awards you’ll see them there, but after that we’ll be posting them to our page.
