The growth of mulitmedia content

As our download speeds increased, and our connection to online content became more embedded into our day to day lives, we all saw the YouTube effect take off. Short sharp video messages, straight to our own screens delivered all sorts of information.

In the middle of wondering why we needed the vast majority of that information (and in particular why so many people film their pet cat), we saw that the creation of video content opened up a whole new way to get information to customers, students and clients on websites that weren’t You Tube. This information could be translated and featured on your website to be exact.

That’s why at Mayfly, we don’t film dancing cats – unless we’re expressly asked to that is – but we do work with you to determine how a well constructed video can examine aspects of your business or project that can’t be conveyed with just words alone.
